The tickets for our upcoming DSC and Automated Lab Workshop with Jan-Hendrik Peters of Microsoft are almost all gone.
So this is the call for last orders.
But before you drink up and head into the night I have a request to ask:
- If you have already taken a ticket and you now cannot make it on Sunday 21st of October, please cancel your ticket now - this lets somebody who can make it take your ticket;
- If you’re interested in coming along on Sunday 21st October and learning about DSC and Automated Lab from a Microsoft Premier Engineer then get your ticket now. Don’t wait until Saturday (as we’re closing tickets tomorrow), do it now. If the tickets have sold out, contact us and we’ll pop you onto a waiting list and let you know if a ticket becomes available;
At midnight on Wednesday, 17th October, we are closing the chance to grab your ticket. So get your ticket now.
To make this day happen we need to thank both of our fantastic sponsors:
- Incremental Group came through for us again with the fantastic venue. Many many thanks to them for their continued support;
- MBN Solutions will be providing a light lunch for us all during the event. It is fantastic that they have agreed to support us outside of our normal monthly meetup. A big thank you to them;
Without sponsors events such as this simply cannot take place. Which brings me to stress point 1, above. Again.
The biggest pain point in running events and groups is when people agree to attend and dont turn up on the day but don’t let us know. We appreciate things happen. Life gets in the way of our geek time. It happens to all of us. Usually, but not always, we get some notice when these things are going to happen. All we ask, as organisers of this event and the user group, is that you cancel your ticket or let us know. If we plan for 20 people coming along and only half do so we have wasted our time in organising for 20 and our sponsors money paying for lunch for 20.
So please, cancel your ticket if you cannot make it on Sunday 21 October.
If you need a reminder of the event check out our previous post with the agenda, location and other details.
Hopefully I will get to see you on Sunday 21 October!
